5 stitches × 5 rows of Single Crochets in 1"

Pattern

Bag

Adjust the beginning number of CH to desired length, i.e. double the height of the bag.

Round	Stitches	Count
1	CH 101, SC in 2nd CH from hook and every CH {work in the back bump}	100
2-4	CH 1, SC in each stitch	100
5	CH 1, SC BLO in each stitch	100
6-8	CH 1, SC in each stitch	100
9	CH 1, SC FLO in each stitch	100
10-12	CH 1, SC in each stitch	100

Repeat R5-12 to desired width.

As you can see, it's rows of SC in both loops and then working BLO/FLO to create the pleats. You can work more rows of regular SC for wider folds.

After you are satisfied with the width, fold your work crosswise, and SS both sides together.

Tip: work into the bottom loop of the lower piece and upper loop of the top piece instead of all 4 loops.

Adjust the beginning number of CH to desired length.
