7Puff	7-loops puff stitch: *YO, insert, pull up a loop* × 3, YO, pull through all 7 loops, CH 1 to close
9Puff	9-loops puff stitch: *YO, insert, pull up a loop* × 4, YO, pull through all 9 loops, CH 1 to close
CH	Chain
MR	Magic Ring
SC	Single Crochet
SS	Slip Stitch
* A * × B	Repeat “A” for a number of B times
( 𝑥 )	Work all of “𝑥” in ONE stitch

Gauge

3 rounds = 10.5cm

Pattern

Coaster

Round	Stitches	Count
1	Begin with MR, CH 1, 7PUFF × 6, SS to 1st puff	6
2	SS to space between puff *(7PUFF, CH 1, 7PUFF) between each puff SS to 1st puff	12
3	SS to CH-1 space *(7PUFF, CH 1, 7PUFF) in the CH-1 space, 1 7PUFF between each puff* SS to 1st puff	18

Repeat R3 to desired size.

Finish with a border of SC in each stitch and between puffs, 2 SC in the CH-1 space.
For reference, I made 4 rounds and came up to 10.5 cm diagonally.

Hot Pad

2	SS to between puff *(9PUFF, CH 1, 9PUFF) between each puff* SS to 1st puff	12

Repeat R3 to desired size.

For reference, I made 7 rounds and came up to 18.5 cm diagonally.

Loop

• After border, do not cut, and SS to the 1st SC in the CH-1 space
• CH 7 (or to desired length)
• SS to next stitch on border
• Working in ring just created, make 10~15 SCs
