Another attempt at this cutesy.
I loved the first one I made but wish it could contain more. I decided to get a bag organizer to also function as lining. It turned out to be too big for that so this time I'm gonna work up to ensure the organizer fits.

Instead of the yarn provided in the kit, I tried out a new raffia yarn by Xue Fei Er. The yarn looked more like paper raffia but it is actually cotton raffia. I'm unsure of the technology but on closer observation; it's like 6 cotton threads laid together and they somehow do not get undone easily. I almost never had my hook pierced through the yarn.
It claimed to be washable which I didn't try but I did steamed and also straightened some frogged yarn. The steaming softened and widened the curls and did nothing further but they went straight back to their original state after going through the hair straightener.
Though I bought the 2 kits at the same time from the same shop , the leather accessories were quite different.
There is texture printed on the darker one, which at first I didn't like but now, I think it's pretty nice.
The handles are of different lengths.
The zipper tabs are also of different sizes..
It is still small, honestly. Luckily I did not overdo it as the zipper provided might be too short. I love it though. New fave. Can't wait to bring it out~
Loving the colour combi of the yarn, the one that came in the kit was a pink pretending to be lavender. I only used less than half a skein of each colour for the darker one, I'm contemplating whether to remake the lighter one... 🤔
