Crochet Flower Square Fanny Pack
I really like 8-petal flowers; which prompted me to make this amongst the patterns I'd saved.
The tutorial is in Mandarin but there are English captions for US crochet terms.
The squares worked up really easily and you only needed 4 of them, and the assembling was not complicated at all.
I connected the middle pieces first along the bottom, and then the sides vertically from front to back.
The zipper zone is not very big, but enough for phones up to 7”.
I can't wait to bring it out!
Supplies & Tools
| Yarn | 5-ply Combed Cotton Yarn - 90g |
| Hook | 3.0mm | 3.25mm for joining |
| Hardware | |
| Size | Pouch: 34 × 16 cm; Strap: 67 × 3 cm |
Some colours I had in stash were dwindling, so I measured the usage for each colour of the first square to ensure I had enough to complete the project.
Here's my yarnage for reference:
| Round | Yarn (g) |
|---|---|
| 1 | 0.6 |
| 2 | 1.0 |
| 3-4 | 3.7 |
| 5 | 1.4 |
| 6-7 | 4.9 |
| 8 | 1.8 |
Gauge
I used the same weight of yarn & hook size as the pattern and my square came up to 13 × 13 cm.Pattern

| Changes | Strap: made the strap using another of her patterns, & added a round of CH-3 border. |
