LpSC - Back
- Insert hook,
- go around the (working) yarn in front & pick up the (tension) yarn behind {Pic. 1}
- pull through stitch
- YO, and pull through 2 loops
The loops will be on the wrong side
LpSC - Front
- Pull down the feeding loop
- Push yarn to the right & insert hook {Pic. 2}
- YO, pull through
- YO, and pull through 2 loops
The loops will be on the right side facing you.

Multiples
- FHDC up to preferred length, or
- CH up to preferred length (+1)
Pattern
Turn after each row.Base
- FHDC up to preferred length, or
- Working in back bumps of CH,
- HDC in 2nd CH from hook
Repeat
1.- CH 1
- LpSC in each stitch across
- CH 1
- HDC in each stitch across
Variant
- Size of loop is adjustable by finger controlling the feeding yarn
- For Repeat: Row 2, use SC for denser loops, use DC for sparser loops.
- For very thick patches, alternate the front & back loops stitches for each row
