Changes

Grid

Contrary to my usual tension, it turned out bigger when I used the instructed hook size. I didn’t mind having a bigger bag so I just went on with it. So I had to use a bigger grid and luckily it was still within the grid that came with the kit.

Front/Back: 55 × 55 sq

Bottom: 55 × 20 sq

Sides & Bottom

Along with the front & back panel, changes had to be made for the sides & bottom.

Sling

The pattern asked to work with 2 yarn held together with a 3mm hook. I felt it was too slim for my bag, so I held 3 together instead with a 6mm hook. With these, the stitches are less tight and stretch more, so I only make a sling of 95cm. It’d stretch to a little over 100 cm after loading the bag.
