Crochet Puffy Star Trinket Tray

I had wanted to recreate this puffy star coaster I had been seeing on my social media. It ended up so small that it is better off as a trinket holder. I might attempt a bigger one in the near future, but I need to get back to Aura right now.

  • turn around, work R3-5 in the unworked loops of R2
  • leave a long tail, sew the vertices together, stuffing a little as we go

tip

  • when working the last round, mark the first stitch of each repeat on one side and the last stitch of each repeat on the other. when attaching, these marked stitches should always meet.
  • when sewing the vertices, pick up the back loops of each side (the loops closest to each other) PLUS the back horizontal loops. using all 4 loops ensures the attachment is snug and does not leave large holes.
